Mr. Ghosh’s formative years are closely associated with Ramakrishna Mission. His academic path includes an M.Sc. in Chemistry from Vivekananda Centenary College, Software Engineering from GNIIT and Foreign Trade Management from the Institute of Export Management.

He also pursued M.B.A. studies at IIM Kolkata, which he did not complete. His institutional service includes membership of the governing bodies of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Mission and Ramakrishna Paramhansa University, membership of the West Bengal State Council of Education, and the role of Assistant Secretary, Alumni Student Association of Ramakrishna Mission.
